Can our business afford TruStar Golf?

Yes, but the real question is can you afford not to engage us?  Each situation is unique, but TruStar Golf has a strong track record of paying for ourselves many times over; meaning that the club’s bottom line results increase by at least the amount a club pays TruStar Golf in service fees annually (and typically much more) and the overall operation is positioned under TruStar’s guidance to achieve best practice results.  Having TruStar Golf involved provides other ancillary benefits such as risk mitigation, human resources guidance, and financial planning that most facilities are not able to achieve stand alone.

Our philosophy is that if we can’t more than pay for ourselves then we will tell an owner or operator upfront as TruStar Golf only wants to be involved where it can be impactful to do so.

Will the club’s management team members want to work with TruStar Golf?

Change can be difficult for anyone.  However, we at TruStar Golf are sensitive to change management and we take a professional and courteous approach to working with all management team members.  Our goal is to help all management team members improve their personal performance while also advancing the performance of the business for the golf course.  It is ultimately rewarding for all parties to see the golf course achieve higher levels of performance under a team effort.

Will TruStar Golf come in and change the entire operation?

Not necessarily.  TruStar Golf reviews club operations and procedures before suggesting and implementing any changes.  TruStar Golf’s primary objective is to work with what is already in place to the extent possible; however, if a change is necessary to achieve best practice results, then ultimately our team will work with the management team to assess the change and create implementation approaches to achieve desired results in a seamless way.

If ownership is working with TruStar Golf does it mean that the management team is not meeting expectations?

No.  While there are times when we are asked be involved in turnaround situations, there are times when ownership just simply doesn’t have the time or the expertise to oversee the club management to the desired levels and therefore asks TruStar Golf to be involved.  With increasingly competitive golf markets across North America, many owners also see TruStar Golf as an ‘insurance policy’ in managing the club and insuring all resources are being efficiently deployed and managed.

Does TruStar Golf only work with Public, Semi-Private, or Resort Style Golf Courses?

No.  TruStar Golf is capable of working with all types of golf courses both for-profit and not-for-profit.  While the goals of a not-for-profit operation can vary from for-profit golf courses, in today’s golf markets efficiency and cost minimization within the context of overall service goals is critical.  As a result, we believe we can positively impact all types of golf operations and corporate structures.  We are effective in interacting with Boards and Committees to achieve success.
